Job description

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Floor Supervisor to oversee daily production activities on the manufacturing floor. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth conversion of semi-finished goods into finished goods while maintaining productivity, quality standards, safety compliance, and workforce discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor.
• Monitor the manufacturing process from semi-finished goods to finished goods.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
• Allocate manpower efficiently and monitor operator performance.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper machine utilization and coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with Stores and Planning teams.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure product quality standards are met.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and daily output reports.
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation on the shop floor.
• Train and guide operators and helpers on production processes and safety practices.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
• Investigate and report production deviations, delays, and incidents.

Required Skills
