Job summary

Neuraleap Technologies Group in Mumbai seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee production planning, manufacturing operations, quality, and workforce management. You will ensure efficient resource use, on-time delivery, cost optimization, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will lead production supervisors, coordinate with procurement, stores, quality, maintenance and logistics, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in production and operations management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing production teams and plant operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee production planning, manufacturing operations, quality, and workforce management. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production and operations management, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery, cost optimization, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Production Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Develop and implement production schedules based on customer requirements and business priorities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to minimize wastage and downtime.
• Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining quality standards.

Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams for seamless operations.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Monitor production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure effective inventory planning for raw materials and finished goods.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production supervisors and shop floor teams.
• Allocate work responsibilities and monitor team performance.
• Conduct regular training sessions to improve productivity, quality, and safety awareness.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects and improve production quality.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Safety & Maintenance

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety policies and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and operations reports.
• Analyze production KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
• Present operational performance reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in Operations is an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in production and operations management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing production teams and plant operations.
