Job summary

JobItUs in Navsari, Gujarat, invites a seasoned Production Supervisor to oversee daily to monthly production plans in a high‑precision manufacturing setting. Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering is required, with 8–15 years of relevant experience.

You will lead CNC turning, VMC/HMC, grinding and assembly operations, monitor OEE, drive Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and review MIS dashboards to raise productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with CNC turning and precision machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen.
• Strong leadership and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Manage CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, CNC Grinding, Wire Cut, and Assembly operations.
• Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, cycle time, setup time, and OEE.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance for smooth production.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure products manufactured per drawings, GD&T, and quality standards.
• Reduce rejection, rework, downtime, and costs.
• Lead supervisors, engineers, operators, and helpers; manage manpower.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S, for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety procedures, PPE, and workplace discipline.
• Prepare and review production reports, MIS, KPIs, dashboards.
• Conduct regular production reviews and present improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Manage CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, CNC Grinding, Wire Cut, and Assembly operations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, CNC Grinding, and Wire Cut operations.

• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controllers.

• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.

• Knowledge of machining parameters, cutting tools, fixtures, and productivity improvement.

• Strong leadership, manpower management, and decision‑making skills.

• Knowledge of Production Planning, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.

• Proficiency in ERP, MIS reporting, and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in CNC machining, machine tool manufacturing, precision engineering, or heavy engineering will be preferred.
