Job summary

Balaji Durobuild in Karnal is seeking an organized Storekeeper to manage material inward, storage and issue at our construction site. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of store management experience and a track record of accurate record-keeping.

You will maintain stock records for cement, steel, hardware and other materials, issue items against requisitions, and generate daily/weekly stock reports for the project manager. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper on construction or manufacturing sites.
• Proficient in inventory management and stock record maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel for stock entries and reports.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Good communication with site and purchase teams.
• Willingness to work on-site at Karnal location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records for cement, steel, hardware and other construction materials.
• Issue materials to site teams against proper requisition and maintain issue records.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling and safekeeping of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Coordinate with the purchase and site team for timely replenishment of materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly stock reports and share with the project manager.
• Maintain gate pass, challan and other store-related documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / 12th pass with 2 - 3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in construction or manufacturing.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: INR 1,50,000 - 2,00,000 per annum, based on experience and skill set.
