Job summary

Alantech is seeking a responsible Store Keeper to manage inventory, maintain stock records, and ensure timely receipt and issue of materials for daily operations at our Kerala facility.

You will receive, inspect, and verify materials against orders, maintain stock registers, issue items to departments, coordinate with Purchase and Production teams, and ensure proper storage and documentation, including GRNs and stock reports.

Qualifications

• Plus Two/ITI/Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations helpful.
• Good computer skills including MS Excel and basic record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
• Issue materials, tools, and spare parts to concerned departments per approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about low-stock items.
• Arrange and store materials systematically for easy identification and access.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Accounts regarding material movements.
• Ensure proper storage, safety, and security of materials.
• Maintain records of inward and outward materials, including GRNs and material issue slips.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and support stock audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
• Issue materials, tools, and spare parts to the concerned departments as per approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about low-stock items.
• Arrange and store materials systematically for easy identification and access.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company will be an added advantage.
