Job summary

Signals And Systems in Chennai is seeking a Stores/Inventory Executive to manage daily stores operations, receiving, inspection, storage, issuing and dispatching materials, and ensure timely ERP entries.

You will verify materials against purchase orders, prepare GRNs, monitor stock levels, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with Purchase and Production teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability. Experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores operations including receipt, inspection, storage and dispatch.
• Ability to ensure timely ERP entries for inbound and outbound materials.
• Knowledge of POs, GRNs and stock reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating with Purchase and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily stores operations including receipt, inspection, storage, issue and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure timely ERP entries for all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify materials against purchase orders and prepare GRNs for received materials.
• Monitor stock levels, minimum stock requirements, and material availability for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper material ID and storage.
• Prepare delivery challans and maintain store documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Production teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Follow up with vendors for pending supplies, delivery schedules, and POs.
• Coordinate with vendors for registration, GST documentation, vendor codes, and compliance.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and prepare inventory reports (monthly/half-yearly/annually).
• Ensure ISO standards, workplace safety, and 5S practices are followed.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions to improve stock accuracy.
• Maintain housekeeping, material preservation, and visual management in stores.
• Support supplier identification, evaluation, and vendor coordination as required.
