Job summary

Innovative Instruments & Controls is seeking a diligent Store/Inventory Executive to manage inbound and outbound materials, maintain stock accuracy, and support smooth material flow across departments in Chennai.

You will verify deliveries, update ERP/inventory systems, prepare packing lists and dispatch documents, and ensure safe storage of electrical components while keeping the store organized and compliant with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP/inventory software.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic understanding of electrical components is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Perform inward and outward material entries in the inventory system.
• Maintain proper stock records and inventory accuracy.
• Store electrical and automation components safely with proper identification and labeling.
• Issue materials to the production team as per material requisition.
• Prepare delivery challans, packing lists, and dispatch documentation.
• Conduct regular stock verification and assist in periodic inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform the purchase department about low-stock items.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive electrical and electronic components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
• Coordinate with the purchase, production, and accounts departments for smooth material flow.
• Assist in loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Follow company safety procedures and store management policies.
