Pharma Store / Warehouse Manager

Location: Ambernath, Mumbai

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (WHO-GMP)

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Store Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and finished goods (FG) at Amar Products. This role is the backbone of our material compliance and is critical for passing strict WHO-GMP, NAFDAC, and EFDA audits. The ideal candidate will ensure zero material mix-ups, precise inventory reconciliation, and flawless dispensing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Receipt & Segregation: Manage the receipt of all APIs, excipients, and packaging. Ensure strict physical segregation of materials into Quarantine, Approved, and Rejected areas, coordinating seamlessly with QA/QC for sampling and release.
• GMP Dispensing Operations: Supervise the precise weighing and dispensing of raw materials for ointments, liquids, and cosmetics under Reverse Laminar Air Flow (RLAF) booths. Ensure strict line clearance procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Inventory & Traceability: Maintain 100% accurate inventory ledgers utilizing FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expire, First Out) principles. Ensure exact material reconciliation against Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR).
• Warehouse Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain daily temperature and relative humidity (RH) logs, especially for temperature-sensitive materials. Ensure the warehouse meets all WHO-GMP standards for pest control, cleanliness, and palletization in preparation for international audits.
• Export Dispatch Coordination: Work closely with the Purchase and Production teams to manage the dispatch of finished goods for local sales and merchant export orders, ensuring export packaging (e.g., for Gambia FDA or NAFDAC markets) is handled and loaded correctly.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc., B.Pharm, or B.Com with specialized experience in pharmaceutical inventory management.
• Experience: 5--8 years of experience managing a pharmaceutical formulation warehouse (Handling both RM and PM).
• Technical Skills: Deep practical knowledge of WHO-GMP warehousing standards, dispensing protocols, and material reconciliation. Familiarity with pharma ERP software.
• Leadership: Strong ability to train and manage store assistants and material handlers on proper hygiene, gowning, and handling procedures.
