Job summary

RSA Logistics Dwc in Navi Mumbai seeks an Inventory & Materials Handler to manage repair materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring accurate stock records and timely availability for container repair activities.

The role requires practical knowledge of repair materials, strong inventory discipline, and proficiency with an ERP/web-based store management system to record receiving, issuing, and stock movements.

Qualifications

• Repair materials knowledge including steel sheets, angles, plywood, welding rods, paint and gas cylinders.
• Strong inventory discipline with accurate stock levels and records.
• Experience receiving and issuing materials with proper checks and documentation.
• Ability to monitor min/max stock levels and identify shortages.
• Familiarity with ERP/web-based store management systems and data entry.
• Record-keeping for tools and equipment issued/returned.
• Documentation such as GRN, slips and stock registers.
• Identify sizes, grades, specs and quantities accurately.
• Maintain organized, safe storage areas.
• Awareness of safety procedures for gas cylinders, paints and chemicals.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Coordinate with repair supervisors, technicians, purchasing and management.

To manage, control, and maintain repair materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring accurate stock records and timely availability for container repair activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Repair Material Knowledge Understands steel sheets, angles, plywood, welding rods, paint, gas cylinders, etc.

Inventory Management – Maintains accurate stock levels and records. Inventory Management – Maintains accurate stock levels and records. Material Receiving & Issuing – Properly checks, records, and issues materials to repair teams.

Stock Control – Monitors minimum/maximum stock and identifies shortages.

Documentation – Maintains GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and related records.
