Job summary

Metplast Industries in Khopoli, Maharashtra is seeking a Store/Inventory Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage inward/outward material entries and maintain accurate stock records.

You will use ERP software to update stock, verify deliveries against PO and invoices, and coordinate with purchasing, production and accounts to ensure material availability. MS Excel skills and strong documentation are essential.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily store activities including inward and outward material entries.
• Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, and transferred.
• Handle ERP software for material entries, stock updates, and inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper availability of required materials.
• Verify materials received against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward movements.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• Conduct regular stock verification and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and organization of materials in the store.
• Prepare basic stock reports and provide inventory updates to management.
• Ensure that store procedures and documentation are followed properly.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-3 years of experience in Store / Inventory Management, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Practical knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management.
• Good understanding of material inward and outward processes.
• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle multiple store activities.

Preferred Candidate

Candidate should be responsible, organized, and capable of independently managing day-to-day store operations and ERP entries.
