Job summary

ICE North Refrigeration in Visakhapatnam seeks an organized Store/Inventory Executive to manage day-to-day store operations, maintain accurate stock records, and coordinate with Purchase, Accounts and Operations teams.

You will receive materials against Purchase Orders, verify quantities, label and store by category, issue materials against approved slips, and maintain stock levels with regular reconciliations to support production and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma preferred for store/warehouse roles
• Proficient in MS Excel and stock reconciliation
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of PO, GRN and Material Issue Notes
• Good communication and coordination abilities

Responsibilities

• Receive materials against Purchase Orders and verify quantity/specifications.
• Label and arrange materials by category and location.
• Issue materials against approved Material Requisition or issue slips.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and monitor stock movements.
• Record inward/outward entries, GRN and Material Issue records.
• Perform regular physical stock verification and stock reconciliation.
• Report shortages, excess, damages or obsolete materials.
• Coordinate with Purchase and other departments for timely deliveries.
• Provide stock availability information to departments.

Job Summary

Manage day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material receiving, storage and issuance. Maintain accurate stock records and coordinate with Purchase, Accounts and Operations teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Receive materials against Purchase Orders and verify quantity/specifications.
• Check materials for damage, shortage or discrepancies. Arrange and label materials properly by category and location.
• Issue materials against approved Material Requisition / Issue Slips.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Monitor stock movement and prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Maintain inward/outward entries, GRN and Material Issue records.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and stock reconciliation.
• Report shortages, excess, damaged or obsolete materials.
• Coordinate with Purchase regarding requirements and pending deliveries.
• Verify received materials against Purchase Orders and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers for shortages, damages or incorrect supplies. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Service, Admin, Purchase and Accounts.
• Provide timely stock availability information to departments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Inventory and store management knowledge.
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of stock reconciliation and physical verification.
• Basic knowledge of PO, GRN and Material Issue Notes.
• Good MS Excel knowledge.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and detail-oriented.

Educational Qualification

• Any Graduate / Diploma preferred.
• Relevant Store / Warehouse experience may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• 2-5 years in Store / Inventory / Warehouse operations.
• Industrial, manufacturing, engineering or trading experience preferred.
