Job summary

Stefab stores division seeks a capable Store Incharge to oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse operations. You will ensure timely material availability for production, maintain stock records, and uphold safety and ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will manage GRN/MIS, implement FIFO/FEFO, and coordinate with Purchase for replenishment, while supervising warehouse staff and generating regular reports.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials as per PO and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage.
• Issue raw materials, consumables, and spare parts to production per requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP and physical registers.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
• Coordinate with Purchase Department for replenishment.
• Prepare GRN, MIS, stock transfer notes, and related documents.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping and safe storage practices.
• Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of materials.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection/acceptance.
• Manage dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
• Supervise store assistants and warehouse staff.
• Generate inventory and consumption reports daily/weekly/monthly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.

Job Title: Store Incharge
Department: Stores / Warehouse

Job Summary

The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing all store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely availability of materials for production, and complying with company policies related to inventory management, safety, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.


• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or loss.


• Issue raw materials, consumables, and spare parts to production departments as per approved requisitions.


• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers.


• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.


• Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.


• Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material replenishment.


• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), Stock Transfer Notes, and other store-related documents.


• Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out), where applicable.


• Ensure housekeeping standards (5S) and safe storage practices within the warehouse.


• Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of applicable materials.


• Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection and acceptance of incoming materials.


• Manage dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.


• Supervise store assistants and warehouse staff.


• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong inventory management and stock control knowledge.


• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, etc.).


• Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.


• Good analytical and reporting skills.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


• Diploma or certification in Materials Management or Warehouse Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• 5 - 10 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.


• Experience with inventory control systems and ERP software is preferred.

Also Purchase Executive with 3 to 5years of experience.
