Job summary

Evergreen Enterprises in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, India is seeking a Store Executive to manage day-to-day store and material activities at our construction site. You will receive, store, issue, and maintain records of machinery parts, construction materials, tools, consumables, and other site materials.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of store experience, good knowledge of MS Excel, stock registers, and coordination with purchasing and site teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the construction site.

• Ensure proper storage, handling and safety of materials.

Position: Store Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Executive to manage day-to-day store and material activities at our construction site in Tiruchengode. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining records of machinery-related items, construction materials, tools, consumables, and other site materials .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the construction site.
• Receive and verify construction materials, machinery spares, tools, and consumables.
• Check materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and invoices .
• Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances .
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requests.
• Maintain stock registers, bin cards, GRN/MRN, and inventory records .
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the concerned team about material requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Project, and Site Engineering teams for material-related activities.
• Track incoming and outgoing materials and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials, machinery spares, tools, and consumables .
• Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged, or obsolete materials and report them to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store area.
• Support periodic stock audits and prepare inventory reports.
• Follow company procedures related to material control, safety, and documentation .

Requirements

The candidate should have experience handling materials such as:

• Welding and fabrication materials
• Electrical and plumbing items
• Hardware items
• PPE and safety materials
• Lubricants and consumables
• Site-use materials and equipment-related items

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of construction site store operations .
• Experience in material receiving, issuing, and inventory management .
• Good knowledge of stock registers and inventory documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel .
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at a construction/project site.
• Hindi-speaking ability will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP/Inventory Management software will be an advantage.

Qualification

Any Graduate / Diploma with relevant experience in Store / Material Management.
