Job summary

Chemplast Sanmar invites applications for the Store Supervisor (Inward and outward) to manage stores inventory and ensure timely dispatch of finished goods. The role supports production by ensuring raw material availability and implementing accurate SAP store accounting.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical with 3-5 years of experience in a process industry, and hands-on knowledge of materials, packing, and material handling in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical with 3-5 years in a process industry.
• Experience in stores and inventory control using SAP.
• Knowledge of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods handling.

Responsibilities

• Incharge of stores activities to support production.
• Ensure availability of raw materials to meet production needs.
• Inventory control for engineering and packing materials; SAP stores accounting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional units for material procurement.
• Certify inward freight bills and track them.
• Oversee warehouse activities at the plant.
• Handle materials at various production and storage stages.
• Monitor forklift operations and loading of finished goods.
• Incharge of sales administration and despatch of finished goods.
• Handle dispatch activities and complete invoicing, taxes, GST.
• Freight management and coordination with Head office marketing for transport.
• Certify outward freight bills and track.

Job description

Position: Store Supervisor(Inward and out ward) Reporting to: Head Stores

Key Purpose of the Job

• To carry out the responsibilities of controlling of Stores inventory, providing raw materials for continuous production
• Ensuring the timely dispatches of finished goods as per plan.

Educational Qualification / Experience required

Any Diploma (Preferred Mechanical) 3-5 years of experience in a process industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incharge of stores activties to support to the production department.
2. Ensure the availabilty of raw materials to meet the set production department.
3. Inventory control for the engineering and paking materials as per the standards.
   - Stores accounting in SAP
   - Knowledge on the plant operations -Disposal of the scrap and generate revenue to the plant.
   - Knowledge on materials both chemical and engineering
4. Coordination with the cross-functional departments / units for the material procurement.
5. Certify the in-ward frieght bills and ensure proper tracking.
6. Responsible for the ware house activities at the plant.
7. Handling the materials at various stages of production and storage of the finished goods.
   - Knowledge on various material handling techniques.
   - Knowledge on the managing and monitoring the physical inventory
   production process.
8. Monitoring the fork-lift operations and finished goods loading.
9. Incharge of the sales administration and despatch of the finished goods.
10. Handle the despatch activities and complete all the documentation activities (like invoicing, commercial taxes, GST)
    - Knowledge on the Commercial tax norms
    - Knowledge on excise and sales tax norms
11. Frieght management and coordiantion with the Head office marketing team for all the transport arrangements
12. Certify the out-ward frieght bills and ensure proper tracking.
