Position: Store Executive
Location: Munger Dairy Plant
Role
To effectively manage and control all store operations related to Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Finished Goods (FG), Consumables, Chemicals, and Dairy Ingredients. The role is critical to ensure uninterrupted production and accurate inventory management at the Munger Dairy Plant, which manufactures Milk, Curd, Lassi, Mishti Doi, Butter, Ghee, SMP, and WMP.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Monitor daily stock of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Consumables, and Chemicals.
- Ensure SAP stock matches physical inventory.
- Maintain adequate stock levels to support production requirements.
- Monitor inventory of milk, cultures, flavors, colors, butter, ghee, and milk powder.
Material Receipt & Storage
- Coordinate unloading of incoming materials.
- Ensure quality clearance before GRN creation.
- Maintain proper storage practices for all materials.
SAP Transactions
- Create and maintain Milk Purchase Orders (POs).
- Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) after QC approval.
- Record material issuance, transfers, and consumption in SAP.
- Maintain accurate stock and rejection entries in SAP.
Production Support
- Issue materials to production as per requirement.
- Ensure timely availability of RM, PM, consumables, and chemicals to avoid production disruption.
Reporting & Compliance
- Share daily RMPM stock reports.
- Conduct weekly Physical Stock Verification (PSV) and reconcile inventory differences.
- Submit weekly stock reports to the SCM team.
- Ensure all GRNs are closed before reporting.
Consumables & Chemicals Management
- Plan and procure consumables and chemicals while maintaining approximately 90 days of stock.
- Track consumption trends and control wastage.
Write-off & Inventory Control
- Prepare monthly write-off reports with quantity and reasons.
- Escalate write-off approvals as per company procedure.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Support annual procurement planning.
- Initiate and manage Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) for consumables and chemicals based on actual and planned consumption.
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store and inventory management, preferably in Dairy, FMCG, Food Processing, or Manufacturing industries.
- Hands‑on experience in SAP inventory transactions and warehouse operations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
A mature and experienced professional capable of independently managing store operations in a high-volume dairy manufacturing environment while ensuring inventory accuracy, smooth material flow, and compliance with company processes.
