• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in store and material planning operations, preferably in FMCG, food processing, dairy, or ice cream manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials and packing materials.
• Ensure proper documentation for GRN, material issue, transfer and return transactions of raw and packing materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system and physical stock reconciliation
• Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO principles to minimize product expiry and wastage.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and physical inventory verification.
• Ensure proper unloading of RM and PM products.
• Maintain store housekeeping and ensure compliance with 5S, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce inventory losses.

Summary

Dairy Classic Ice Creams Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Executive who will be responsible for

managing the day-to-day operations of the stores, procuring and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and

packaging materials required for ice cream production. Handles the material receipt, storage, inventory control, and

issuance of raw materials, packaging materials and other warehouse items. The role requires strict adherence to

FIFO/FEFO, food safety, inventory accuracy, and warehouse SOPs

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Management

• Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials and packing materials.
• Ensure proper documentation for GRN, material issue, transfer and return transactions of raw and packing materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system and physical stock reconciliation
• Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO principles to minimize product expiry and wastage.

Procurement & Purchasing

• Co-ordinate with supply planner to Plan and procure raw and packing materials based on production plans and inventory requirements.
• Closely work with procurement team for rate approval.
• Manage RM and PM stock at the factory in line with plans shared by the Supply Planner.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support the weekly and monthly production plan.
• Analyse, report, and explain stock variances and take corrective and preventive actions.
• MRP generation of all SKUs for material planning as well as for P.O generation. Ensuring 100% Fill rate & Zero Stock out.
• Maintaining the safety stock of all SKUs without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation to avoid any dispatch failure and stock out.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Prepare daily and periodic reports related to:

• Inventory
• Stock movement
• Expiry and near-expiry products
• Damages and wastage
• Store manpower productivity

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

• Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience: 4 -6 years of experience in store and material planning operations, preferably in FMCG, food processing, dairy, or ice cream manufacturing.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of store operations and inventory management.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and cold-chain management.
• Good understanding of ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, 5S, and food safety practices is preferred
