Job summary

You will welcome guests, assist seating, set up tables, serve food and beverages, clear and reset tables, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations. Senior Steward duties include guiding junior stewards, overseeing table setups, ensuring hygiene standards, and training new team members while maintaining grooming and professional

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing service roles is preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy dining area.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

The Steward / Senior Steward is responsible for providing good service to guests and supporting the restaurant team in daily operations. The role requires good communication, cleanliness, teamwork, and a guest-friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with seating.
• Set up tables with plates, cutlery, glasses, and other service items.
• Serve food and beverages as per restaurant standards.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and properly.
• Keep the restaurant, tables, and service areas clean and organized.
• Assist the service team during busy hours.
• Attend to guest requests in a polite and helpful manner.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team for smooth operations.
• Check service items and inform the supervisor about any shortages.
• Follow restaurant hygiene, safety, and service standards.
• Maintain proper grooming and personal hygiene.
• Support opening and closing activities of the restaurant.
• Report guest complaints or service issues to the supervisor.
• Work as a team to provide a good dining experience to guests.
