The Tata Marcopolo Motors Ltd. Dharwad is seeking an experienced BIW Maintenance Engineer to lead daily maintenance planning for BIW lines, ensure preventive maintenance, and manage spare parts with SAP PM/MM knowledge.

You will oversee tooling procurement, set maintenance standards, analyze MTTR/MTBF, and drive safety compliance on the weld shop floor while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Competenze

• BE (Electrical / Electronics) with 5+ years in BIW maintenance.
• Experience with SAP PM and MM.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Mansioni

• Plan daily BIW maintenance for line operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Procure spare parts and manage tools.
• Operate and troubleshoot BIW equipment (robots, welders, PLC/Servo, conveyors).
• Perform MTTR/MTBF analysis and improvement actions.

Position Summary With Job Responsibilities

BIW Maintenance Brief Role Description (one line description including travel if any): Responsible for overall BIW Maintenance activities to achieve daily shop targets and execution and planning of Preventive Maintenance, Spare Parts Management, Cost Management with knowledge for SAP Module for PM and MM.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance planning for line operation, PM and repair activities.
• Spare and tool procurement planning.
• Hands on experience of BIW Shop equipment such as Manual and Robotic IT Weld Guns (Tecna, Obara, Bosch, Arm Welders) , Fanuc make robots, PLC and Servo ( Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Festo), Shuttle conveyors, Drop Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Sealant Systems, Stud and MIG Weld equipment, Hand Tools ( Pneumatic, DC, Battery operated) nut runners, pulse tool, riveting tool etc.
• Daily Breakdown analysis with ICA and PCA.
• Work allocation to team members as per their skill
• SAP knowledge for Material Procurement, Spare Management in SAP.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ensuring safety standards in Weld shop operations
• MTTR and MTBF analysis and improvement actions

Education: BE (Electrical / Electronics)

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of Industry experience-BIW Maintenance
