Job summary

SV Management Consultants is seeking a BE-Mech with extensive BIW process planning experience to lead welding process planning for BIW sub-assemblies and assemblies. You will design layouts, select welding equipment including robotic cells, and drive the implementation from concept to handover.

The role requires strong knowledge of GD&T, plant layout, and APQP/PFMEA, with proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BIW sub assemblies/assemblies and welding process.
• Experience with welding equipment including robotic cell and selection criteria.
• Knowledge of plant layout preparation.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge of technology and systems used in manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Catia V5, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with APQP and PFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Process Planning of welded sub assemblies and assemblies of BIW.

• Prepare schedule and priorities for Process Planning, Tool Design and tryout.
• Organize for planning and implementation of projects/assignments in consultation with DHs.
• Coordinate activities for project implementation.
