Role Purpose
The Sr. Executive - HR & Administration will be responsible for managing site HR administration, statutory compliance, labour and contractor management, Training & Development coordination, audits, and overall administrative operations at the assigned plant, manufacturing unit, or mining location. The role will ensure smooth execution of statutory requirements, employee welfare initiatives, training programs, contractor compliance, and administration while acting as the key on-ground support for Corporate and Regional HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administration including housekeeping, security, transport, guest house, employee accommodation, canteen, and other facility management activities.
- Coordinate statutory compliance under applicable labour laws and maintain all statutory registers, records, licenses, notices, and documentation.
- Handle contractor and contractual labour management, including documentation, compliance monitoring, attendance verification, wage records, and statutory submissions.
- Coordinate internal, external, statutory, customer, and compliance audits, ensuring timely closure of observations and maintenance of audit documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor Training & Development programs, maintain training calendars, records, compliance training, and skill development initiatives.
- Support employee welfare, employee engagement, grievance handling, and employee relations, with a strong focus on the blue-collar workforce.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee documentation as required.
- Maintain HR records, attendance, MIS, manpower reports, compliance trackers, and other administrative reports.
- Implement Corporate and Regional HR initiatives, policies, and site-level HR processes.
- Liaise with government authorities, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on statutory, compliance, and administrative matters.
- Conduct regular visits across plants, mines, and operating locations to monitor administration, compliance, training effectiveness, labour practices, and employee welfare.

- Ensure effective administration and uninterrupted site support services.
- Maintain 100% statutory and labour law compliance with accurate documentation and timely submissions.
- Drive Training & Development initiatives and ensure completion of statutory and functional training requirements.
- Strengthen contractor compliance, labour management, employee welfare, and grievance resolution.
- Support successful completion of internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Build strong coordination with Corporate HR, plant leadership, contractors, and external authorities to ensure operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/MSW/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Administration, Labour Management, Statutory Compliance, Training & Development, and Site Administration in manufacturing, mining, cement, minerals, or other industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, contractor management, compliance documentation, audit coordination, and industrial administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Willingness to travel across plants, mines, and operating locations.
