Job summary

Express Global Logistics (EXG) is seeking a skilled logistics coordinator to manage end-to-end shipping line operations, including bookings, VGM, SI filings, and BL releases. The role demands meticulous attention to timelines and strong coordination with internal teams.

You will handle ERP data entry, open and close jobs, manage invoicing and client billing per sales instructions, and maintain rigorous documentation while providing daily updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping line coordination and bookings.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP data management.
• Knowledge of import-export policies and procedures.
• Attention to timelines for VGM, SI, and BL release.
• Ability to coordinate with CHA, accounts and ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Shipping line coordination including booking, VGM, SI filing, and BL release.
• Ensure VGM and shipping instructions are filled within the line's time.
• Release BL after vessel sails and send to shipper within 2 working days.
• Coordinate with transport ops, CHA, and accounts.
• Raise fund requests and book vendor invoices.
• Submit client billing per sales/ops instructions.
• Client coordination and daily updates.
• BL approvals and payment follow-up after execution.
• Documentation including BL drafts, packing lists, and invoices.
• ERP data management: open job, upload related data, close job.
• Prepare DSR and share internally.

Roles Responsibilities

• Shipping line coordination (placing booking, VGM, SI filing, form 13, BL release, any other related activity)
• Ensure VGM and shipping instruction is filled within the stipulated time given by the shipping line.
• Once vessel has sailed, ensure BL is released and sent to shipper within 2 working days.
• Internal coordination
• Coordination with transport ops team
• Coordination with CHA team
• Coordination with accounts
• Raising fund request and booking all vendor invoices
• Submit client billing basis instruction received from sales/ops
