Job summary

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers for Sea Freight queries.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers for all Sea Freight ( Export & Import ) related queries.
• Provide timely updates on shipment status, schedules, delays, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Transport, CFS, CHA, Overseas Agents) to ensure smooth movement of shipments.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through prompt and professional communication.

Sea Freight Documentation

• Prepare, verify, and manage Sea Freight documentation such as HBL/MBL, invoices, packing lists, DOs, pre-alerts, certificates, and other related documents.
• Ensure accuracy of details to avoid delays, discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Manage bookings with shipping lines and ensure adherence to cut-offs and carrier requirements.
• Maintain proper filing, record-keeping, and documentation compliance for audits and statutory requirements.

Operational Support

• Track and monitor cargo movement, vessel schedules, and shipment milestones.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port/CFS authorities as required.
• Prepare operational reports, MIS updates, and shipment trackers.
• Assist in resolving issues related to documentation or shipment handling.
