Job summary

PSA BDP in Chennai is seeking a logistics professional to manage end-to-end ocean imports and coordinate with overseas offices, agents and customers. The role requires handling manifests, DOs, invoicing and ensuring SOP/KPI compliance.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to optimize shipment flows, resolve issues, and maintain data accuracy across the process. This is a hands-on logistics position within a global freight environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean imports and end-to-end shipment handling.
• Ability to coordinate with overseas offices, agents, liners, and customers.
• Familiarity with SOPs, KPIs, and invoicing processes.
• Proactive issue resolution with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ocean imports process.
• Coordinate with stockholders to ensure smooth services.
• Collaborate with overseas offices, agents, customers, liners, co-loaders, CFS, and port authorities.
• Handle manifest filing, Odex service, delivery orders, and invoicing.
• Release Delivery Orders on time with compliance.
• Ensure shipments follow SOP/KPI and customer requirements.
• Open with Meridian, cost booking, invoicing, data accuracy, and closing per SOP/KPI.
• Book vendor payments on time; release BL/DO timely.
• Resolve issues and disputes with stockholders; involve Reporting head when needed.

Job Description:

• Manage end-to-end process of Ocean Imports
• Effective co ordination with all stockholders to ensure the ensure smooth services.
• Co ordinating with Overseas office/agents ,local customers,Liners,co loaders ,CFS ,Port w/house & others
• Manifest filing ,Odex service, Liners Delivery order ,Co loader Delivery Order collections , getting invoices from Liners/Co loaders & others
• Release the Delivery Order with customers on time with compliance & procedure.
• All shipments should handle as per SOP/KPI /Customers requirements.
• Ensure to open the with Meridian, cost booking ,Invoicing ,data accuracy & closing as per SOP /KPI.
• Vendor payments should book on time ,BL / Delivery Order release on timely.
• Resolve all kind of issues & disputes with all stockholders , in case any support required take a help with Reporting head on timely ....
