Job summary

PSA BDP in Hyderabad is seeking an Ocean Export operations specialist to manage end-to-end shipments, including planning, booking, transportation, and documentation. You will coordinate with internal teams and external agents to ensure timely, compliant exports.

The role requires at least 3 years in freight forwarding operations, a professional degree, and strong computer literacy with MS Office and transport management systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of demonstrated experience in freight forwarding operations, regulations and documentation.
• A professional degree by a licensed educational institution.
• High standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant transport management applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage Ocean Export end-to-end operations.
• Plan, Booking, Transportation and Documentation of Ocean Export Shipments.
• Coordination and follow up of the shipment’s end-to-end.
• Customs Clearance coordination for Ocean Export shipments.
• Transport Coordination for Ocean Export shipments.
• Bill of Lading documentation.
• Invoicing and Costing.
• Updating to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI).
• Operational troubleshooting.
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with KPI’s.
• Adherence of approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates.
• Coordinate with PSA BDP external and internal stakeholders (Networks, Agents, suppliers, Ports; Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Customs).
• Punctual and flawless shipment handling and documentation.
