Shahi is seeking an Export Documentation professional to manage end-to-end documentation for exports, including invoices, packing lists, LC norms, and compliance.

The role involves planning shipments to meet ETA/ETD, coordinating with factories, transporters, and freight forwarders to ensure vessel cut-off times, and maintaining robust liaison with buyers, banks, and government bodies for licenses and regulatory matters.

Responsabilidades

• Export documentation management for invoices and packing lists per L/C norms.
• Plan shipments according to buyer ETA/ETD and monitor until destination.
• Communicate with buyer on payments, document needs, and approvals.
• Coordinate with factory, transporter, and freight forwarder to meet vessel cut-off times.
• Handle DEPB/DBK licenses and related government compliance with CHA and banks.
• Interact with buying houses for document clearance and payments.
• Ensure timely payment follow-ups from buyers and merchants.
• Maintain data for orders in-hand and comply with buyer systems for docs and shipping.
• Negotiate documents with banks and manage export bills and currency remittance.
• Know cargo booking procedures, ASN sending, and logistics/courier handling.
• Follow up import documentation after BRC release and CHA clearance.
• Coordinate import shipments documentation and liaison with govt authorities for licenses.

Role & responsibilities

• Full command over Export Documentation regarding raising Invoices & Packing List, Shipping Instruction, etc., as per L/C norms.
• To plan the shipment according to the buyer's ETA/ETD & follow up on the shipment up to the destination.
• To communicate with the buyer regarding payments, documents required, VSL approval, and maintain the orders register.
• To liaise with the Factory, transporter, and freight forwarder, ensuring that cargo meets the vessel cut-off time.
• To ensure clearance of shipments under the DEPB scheme or DBK and the Making Bank Certificate for DEPB License / DBK and dealing with CHA & Government Department.
• Independently dealing with buying houses for clearing documents and payments.
• To ensure payment follow-ups from buying Houses/ merchants and overseas buyers.
• To maintain the data for Orders in-hand. To Comply with all Systems laid down by Buyers for Documentation and shipping Process.
• Documents negotiation with the Bank, Purchasing the Export Bill, dealing with foreign Currency remittance.
• Full knowledge of cargo booking procedure and sending ASN, as well as handling all logistics and couriers.
• To Ensure Import documentation follow-ups after releasing the BRC from the bank & for CHA Import shipment clearance.
• To ensure follow-ups on the import shipment and to complete the documentation related to Imports.
• Interacting with the govt. departments & regulatory authorities for obtaining Advance / DEPB licenses / sanctions & ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
• Maintaining cordial relations by liaison with Central Excise, Customs officials, Forwarding agents, handling clearance of shipments, formalities, and Duty Drawback.
