Job summary

Prologis Freight in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented logistics data entry professional to manage Ocean Imports shipments in the Western Region. You will handle data integrity, prepare bills of lading and invoices, and ensure timely processing within SOPs and TAT.

You will coordinate with overseas agents, customs brokers, warehouse staff and carriers, monitor free time to avoid detention, and track shipments while maintaining accurate system logs and compliance with government norms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data entry for Ocean Imports shipments - Western Region and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare bill of lading/invoices in system and verify draft B/L with overseas agent.
• Monitor free time and alert customer/operations to avoid detention, demurrage.
• Coordinate with custom agents, warehouse staff, shipping lines / NVOCC.
• Track shipments and inform clients about progress within SOPs/SLA/TAT.
• Ensure shipments processed within agreed SOPs and handle escalations.
• Send Pre Alert to clients and follow up on vendor/carrier invoices.
• File IGM/manifest with shipping lines/carriers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate bond formalities and Delivery Order issuance/release.
• Log information in the system and ensure compliance with government norms.
