Job summary

Keka Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking a procurement specialist to manage end-to-end civil materials sourcing for projects. You will review BOQs, drawings and specifications, identify reliable vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and process POs to ensure timely deliveries.

You will maintain vendor records and procurement documentation, aiming for cost efficiency and on-time procurement of cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, tiles and related materials.

Qualifications

• Handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials per project timelines.
• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications and material requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations, commercial terms, rates, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.
• Procure materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, bricks, tiles, stone, waterproofing materials, plumbing-related civil materials.

Job description

Handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials as per project requirements and timelines.

Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material requirements received from the Projects/Execution team.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for civil materials.

Obtain and compare quotations, commercial terms, rates, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals. Manage procurement of materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, bricks, tiles, stone, waterproofing materials, plumbing-related civil materials, and other construction consumables.

Conduct vendor negotiations and rate finalization for major procurement requirements.

Maintain proper vendor records, quotations, comparative statements, POs, and procurement documentation.
