Job summary

Sunteck Realty in Mumbai seeks a procurement professional to develop and execute strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets, sourcing key materials from RMC, steel, cement, tiles, granite and other civil, MEP and finishing items.

You will negotiate with vendors, track budgets, ensure timely delivery, coordinate with planning, execution, contracts and accounts, and drive cost savings through rate contracts and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute procurement strategy aligned with project schedules & budgets
• Manage end-to-end procurement of key materials RMC, steel, cement, tiles, granite, and other civil, MEP & finishing materials
• Float enquiries, prepare comparatives, negotiate rates & finalise purchase orders
• Identify, evaluate & onboard reliable vendors, suppliers & manufacturers
• Drive cost savings through negotiation, rate contracts & value engineering
• Ensure timely material delivery to site as per the procurement schedule
• Coordinate with planning, execution, contracts & accounts teams
• Track material budgets, consumption & reconciliation against BOQ
• Manage vendor performance, payment terms & dispute resolution
• Maintain procurement MIS, documentation & reports for management
