Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in India seeks an automotive infotainment test engineer to drive certification for Android Auto, CarPlay and Alexa from OEM to product launch. The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on testing experience in infotainment, connectivity and AR-HUD domains.

You will write test cases, monitor results, track defects and collaborate with Apple, Google and 3PL partners to clarify requirements, ensuring robust end-to-end validation in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in infotainment/auto testing.
• B-tech or M-tech degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to Launch of Product.
• Write test cases for testing of Infotainment, Cluster, Connectivity, Apps, AR-HUD.
• Conduct full test cycle for Android Auto and CarPlay testing.
• Understand MFI Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto Portals.
• Analyze new requirements for Android Auto/CarPlay specs to identify hardware and software changes.
• Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions.
• Interact with 3PL, Apple, Google for clarification of requirements.

Job description

1. Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to Launch of Product.
2. Shall able to understand the system requirement for Infotainment / Cluster/ Connectivity / Apps/AR-HUD and Write the Test case for testing.
3. Responsible for Full Test Cycle for Android Auto Testing and CarPlay Testing
4. Fully Understanding on the MFI Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto Portals
5. Responsible on analyzing the New Requirements of Android Auto/ CarPlay Latest Spec to understand the Hardware and Software changes in the System.
6. Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions
7. Interaction with 3PL, Apple, Google on the Requirements Clarifications.

Experience

2-3 yrs.

Industry Preferred

Preferably Automotive and Tier 1 who supplies Infotainment system
