Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks an experienced test engineer for Cockpit Electronics Product Testing, including Infotainment, Heads up display and connected solutions.

You will analyze product specifications, plan tests and generate cases for automated and manual benches, and monitor defects while reporting progress. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of automotive test experience, strong knowledge of CAN, J1939, CAPL, Python and data-driven testing, with BE/BTech in ECE/EEE.

Qualifications

• Experience in Driver Display and connectivity domain (Infotainment, HUD, vehicle connectivity).
• Experience with automated and manual test benches and HIL setups.
• Can/ETHERNET/J1939/KWP/UDS protocols knowledge.
• Proficient with testing tools CANoe, Vehicle Spy and CANalyser.
• Programming in CAPL, Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Exposure to A-SPICE/CMMI Level 5 processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety.

Responsibilities

• Understand, set up and modify in automated and manual test environments.
• Test planning, test case generation, test scripts, and test execution on hardware-in-the-loop benches.
• Test monitoring, defect tracking, and reporting of results.
• Support testing activities across Cockpit Electronics (Infotainment, HUD, connectivity).

• Test Management tools CANoe TFS, Visual Studio , ECU Test, Test Stand/ Veristand
• Requirement and Defect Management tools: IBM DNG, IBM RTC, JIRA, SVN
• Automated Test Equipment framework - HIL simulators (dSPACE/NI, Vector VT system/PXI, vision-based test verification etc.,)
• Experience in achieving A-SPICE/CMMI Level 5 process compliance
• Know-how on Functional Safety standards and Testing  ISO26262
