Job Responsibilities

• Candidate must have experience in sheet metal stamping, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Design experience in stamping tools for various sheet metal components such as Draw, Form, Bending, etc.
• Good knowledge of stamping tool design types like progressive, compound, and single-stage tools.
• Knowledge of tool tryouts and troubleshooting in stamping tools.
• Manage tooling projects, including scheduling, quality, cost control, and delivery; analyze and resolve technical and quality issues during manufacturing and quality control, ensuring continuous operation.
• Provide detailed quotes for new projects and assess feasibility issues.
• Develop current stamp dies to meet project and production requirements.
• Resolve problems involved in the tooling process.
• Address issues related to the stamping process.
• Coordinate between customers, internal departments, and suppliers.

Desired Skill Set

• Strong understanding of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, and theory of machines.
• Solid grasp of engineering and design principles.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as UGNX, SolidWorks, Pro-E, or Catia V5.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Understanding of GDT and stack-up analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas for short and long-term assignments.
• Basic knowledge of Information Security Management System.
