Job summary

Aristocrat in India is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist / Billing Team Lead to guide a team of billing specialists in the India AR Delivery Hub. You will oversee daily billing queues, ensure SLA adherence, and support standard invoice production, portal uploads, and status tracking.

You will also train and mentor staff, maintain SOPs, and coordinate with Americas and APAC billing stakeholders to align on requirements and drive data quality, with a focus on accuracy and timely close.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, shared services, or finance operations.
• Prior team lead, senior specialist, quality review, or process trainer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing controls, invoice accuracy, customer portals, and SOP-driven processing.
• Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across India, Americas, APAC, and future EMEA stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily billing queue, distribute work, and monitor SLA adherence for India billing specialists.

• Escalate non-standard billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer-impacting exceptions to the appropriate regional owner or AR Resolution Team.

• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, quality checklists, and billing performance reporting.

Position Summary: The Senior Billing Specialist / Billing Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership for India-based billing specialists within the India AR Delivery Hub. The role supports standardized billing production, billing quality, training, issue triage, and service alignment with Regional Billing Leads as work transitions into the hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily billing queue, distribute work, and monitor SLA adherence for India billing specialists.
• Support standard invoice creation, recurring billing, portal uploads, billing status tracking, and first-pass corrections.
• Review billing output for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to SOPs and controls.
• Coordinate with Regional Billing Leads for Americas and APAC billing requirements.
• Escalate non-standard billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer-impacting exceptions to the appropriate regional owner or AR Resolution Team.

AI Automation Responsibilities

• Use AI-enabled workflow tools, exception dashboards, and automated trackers to prioritize billing queues and identify recurring billing issues.
• Support automation opportunities for invoice generation, portal uploads, status reporting, and billing exception identification.
• Work alongside the India AR Delivery Hub Manager and regional billing owners to boost billing data quality and decrease manual interventions.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, shared services, or finance operations.
