Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Billing Specialist for our India AR Delivery Hub. You will ensure billing accuracy, manage invoicing and recurring billing, and support regions across Americas and APAC. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tools, automation, and strict SOP adherence to drive scalable finance operations.

You will collaborate with regional billing owners, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements while providing backup coverage within regional portfolios.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable or finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow SOPs and controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, customer portals and shared inbox/processes preferred.
• Excellent written communication and handling of customer concerns.
• Comfort with AI-enabled tools, automation, dashboards, and productivity apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized billing processes including invoice creation, recurring billing, customer portal uploads, and invoice distribution.
• Support billing queue management and first-pass invoice corrections and standard credit/rebill activities.
• Maintain comprehensive billing documentation, status tracking, and SLA reporting.
• Address complex billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer concerns with escalation when needed.
• Adhere to billing SOPs, quality controls and regional service requirements.
• Provide cross-training and backup coverage across regional billing portfolios.
• Apply approved AI-enabled and automated tools for billing tasks and documentation.
• Identify billing exceptions and opportunities for automation improvements to Hub Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Perform standardized billing processes including invoice creation, recurring billing, customer portal uploads, and invoice distribution.
• Support billing queue management and process first-pass invoice corrections and standard credit/rebill activities.
• Maintain comprehensive billing documentation, status tracking, and SLA reporting.
• Address complex billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer concerns, raising them to regional billing owners or AR Resolution as needed.
• Adhere strictly to billing SOPs, quality controls, and regional service requirements.
• Provide cross-training and backup coverage across regional billing portfolios.
• Apply approved AI-enabled and automated tools for billing tasks and documentation.
• Identify and flag billing exceptions, process gaps, and opportunities for automation improvements to the Hub Manager and regional billing leads.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or shared services.
• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to follow SOPs and controls meticulously.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, customer portals, and shared inbox/work queue processes is preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills and effective management of customer concerns.
• Comfort with using AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, dashboards, and standard productivity applications to improve process accuracy and scalability.
