Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist / Billing Team Lead to oversee India AR delivery hub billing operations. You will manage a team, ensure accuracy, and drive automation across regions including Americas and APAC. The role emphasizes process discipline and SOP adherence.

You will train staff, optimize SLA performance, and collaborate with regional owners to enhance data quality while using AI-enabled tools to prioritize work and reduce manual intervention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, or finance operations.
• Prior team lead or senior specialist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing controls, invoice accuracy and portals.
• Ability to coordinate across India, Americas, APAC and future EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Handle the daily billing queue, allocate work, and ensure SLA adherence for India billing specialists.
• Support standard invoice creation, recurring billing, portal uploads, tracking, and initial corrections.
• Review billing output for accuracy, timeliness and SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with Regional Billing Leads for Americas and APAC requirements.
• Lead training and cross-training of India billing specialists for regional backup.
• Maintain SOPs, process docs, quality checklists, and billing performance reporting.
• Use AI-enabled tools, dashboards and trackers to prioritize queues and identify issues.
• Support automation opportunities for invoice generation and portal uploads.
• Collaborate with AR Delivery Hub Manager to improve data quality and reduce manual interventions.

What You'll Do

• Handle the daily billing queue, allocate work, and ensure SLA adherence for India billing specialists.
• Support standard invoice creation, recurring billing, portal uploads, billing status tracking, and initial corrections.
• Review billing output for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to SOPs and controls.
• Coordinate with Regional Billing Leads for Americas and APAC billing requirements.
• Advance non-standard billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer-impacting exceptions to the appropriate regional owner or AR Resolution Team.
• Train, cross-train, and guide India billing specialists to provide backup support across regions.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, quality checklists, and billing performance reporting.
• Use AI-enabled workflow tools, exception dashboards, and automated trackers to prioritize billing queues and identify recurring billing issues.
• Support automation opportunities for invoice generation, portal uploads, status reporting, and billing exception identification.
• Collaborate with the India AR Delivery Hub Manager and regional billing owners to improve billing data quality and reduce manual interventions.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ Experience in billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, shared services, or finance operations.
• Prior team lead, senior specialist, quality review, or process trainer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing controls, invoice accuracy, customer portals, and procedure-based processing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across India, Americas, APAC, and future EMEA collaborators.
