Job summary

Genpact in Chennai, India seeks a Sr. Associate - F&A to process invoices and ensure billing accuracy. You will verify data, collaborate with sales and support teams on discrepancies, and maintain pricing and billing policies. The role supports month-end close and drives improvements in billing efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting background, strong data skills, and experience with billing processes and BI reporting. Night shift harmony offered in this hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or masters degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• CAMS, CFE, or other certifications are a plus as listed in the ad.
• Strong billing knowledge and data accuracy is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and generate invoices accurately and timely according to agreements.
• Verify billing data for completeness, including pricing, discounts, quantities, and taxes.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, and support to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date product pricing and billing policies in the system.
• Handle billing inquiries with superior customer service and resolve payments issues.
• Perform reconciliations between billing records, sales orders, and contracts.
• Support month-end/year-end close with reconciliations and reporting.
• Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and improvement areas.
