Job summary

Genpact invites you to join its Accounts Payable team in a non-voice, process-driven role. You will verify, process and pay vendor invoices, handle email queries from vendors and internal stakeholders, and resolve clarifications to ensure accurate account reconciliations.

The role emphasizes precision in general accounting, data literacy, and leveraging MS Office and SAP in a dynamic, AI-forward environment. Evening shift in India may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher qualifications in accounting, commerce or finance, with finance-focused education preferred.
• Experience or certification in AP processes and vendor interactions is advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Office, data visualization tools, and core financial systems.
• Strong data literacy, attention to detail, and ability to resolve item reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable tasks: invoice verification, processing and payment to vendors.
• Respond to vendor and internal queries through email and calls, ensuring timely clarifications.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve open items in reconciliations.
