Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A (I2C) to join its finance operations. The role emphasizes AR processes, cash application, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure timely cash flow and accurate reconciliations.

Prior experience with a real estate client is preferred, and SOPs for AR processes will be updated regularly. The candidate will handle collections, invoicing, and customer queries while maintaining strict confidentiality and high data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or finance.
• Professional certifications in AP/AR or CFI/PSIB/CFE are a plus.
• Experience with AR processes, cash allocation and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls and email invoices to customers.
• Process cash applications and ensure daily reconciliation (DRR).
• Resolve disputes and liaise between departments to drive resolution.
• Reconcile orders and validate credits/debits for collections or refunds.
• Create and update standard operating procedures for AR processes.

Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
