Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - AP in Chennai to review, process, and resolve invoices, ensuring timely payments and adherence to AP guidelines. You will collaborate with requisition teams to clear issues, perform internal audits, and maintain compliance with management policies.

The role requires a strong background in accounting, AP processes, and reconciliations, with English proficiency and experience in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance; Masters in Finance.
• Professional certifications in Accounts Payable, CAMS, CFA, CFE, CPA.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and provide resolutions.
• Validate invoice essentials: supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice number/date.
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately.
• Ensure pay runs are completed as agreed with the customer.
• Follow up on requisitions to resolve invoice issues per AP guidelines.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies for daily operations.
• Perform daily internal audits to ensure invoices/queries follow guidelines.
