Job summary

CoPlay, powered by Hudle, is seeking a Sports Venue Executive to manage backend operations and SOP execution at the centre in Porvorim, Goa. The role focuses on accurate reporting, discipline, reliability, and ensuring a seamless on-ground player experience.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, experience in backend roles in sports or hospitality, and strong communication skills. Growth opportunities and incentives are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in backend/operations roles in retail, sports events, or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of the centre with energy and trust within the community.
• Achieve revenue and participation targets through hosted events.
• Maintain 100% adherence to SOPs across hygiene, bookings, collections, reporting and audits.
• Resolve centre-level challenges independently per SOP with minimal escalations.
• Build a disciplined, reliable centre team through coaching and timely corrective action.
• Ensure backend coordination for centre readiness before/after games including hygiene and security checks.
• Execute backend SOPs (booking ops, collections, reporting, hygiene checks) without shortcuts.
• Update data, reports, and checklists on time with consistent daily performance.

About the Role?

Sports Venue Executive

handles backend operations and SOP execution at the centre. The SVE ensures accurate reporting, clean processes, and operational readiness to support smooth on ground player experience. Success in this role is defined by discipline, reliability, and zero surprises in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• Acts as the face of the centre by being visibly present, engaged, and proactive, creating energy and trust within the community.
• Achieve assigned revenue and participation targets through timely, well-hosted community games and events.
• Maintain 100% adherence to defined SOPs across hygiene, bookings, collections, reporting, and audits.
• Resolve centre-level challenges independently as per SOP, with minimal escalations to central teams.
• Builds a disciplined, reliable centre team through clear expectations, coaching, and timely corrective action.
• Ensure backend coordination for centre readiness before and after games/events, including hygiene and security checks.
• Execute all backend SOPs (booking ops, collections support, reporting, hygiene checks) exactly as defined, with zero shortcuts.
• Ensure all required data, reports, and checklists are updated accurately and on time. Demonstrate consistent attendance, task completion, and a dependable approach to daily operations without requiring follow ups.
• Flag issues early with clarity and context, and elevate responsibly after attempting defined SOP actions

You are likely to be someone who -:

• Enjoys hands-on, on-ground roles.
• Has past experience in back end roles in retail, sports events, sports grassroots, fitness, and hospitality.
• Has a graduate degree in a relevant line of education.
• Has played and are recreationally good at a sport in the past.
• Is comfortable with Mobile apps and tools.
• Has fluency in verbal communication.
• Can Compliance follow instructions, is Coachable, detail oriented, and reliable.
