Job summary

Omam Consultants in India seeks a Civil engineer with a sales focus to drive construction-chemicals product specifications for architects and consultants. The role emphasizes specification-based sales, tender involvement, and building elite architect relations.

You will gather client specifications, present products, and coordinate with project sales to convert BOQs into orders, leveraging tender experience to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Architectural/ Structural Consultants / Construction Chemicals product specification and full sales cycle.
• Prospecting new clients and networking within industries to drive specification-based sales.
• Ability to create and secure written specifications covering product ranges.
• Experience in filing tenders and converting BOQs to sales.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Architectural/ Structural Consultants / Construction Chemicals product specification role including all aspects of the sales cycle; prospecting of new clients, networking within industries, selling through specification and multiple steps sales processes.
• Build understanding of Specifiers strategy, marketing and product efforts. Develop view on latent needs and spur interest in key opportunities.
• Arrange to write down specifications incorporating our products and ensure that the same cannot be easily broken by competitors.
• To ensure that specifications cover complete range of MYKS Products
• To sell specification packages to consultants and customers to ensure that our products are incorporated in the tender stage itself.
• Build strong links with Elite Architects & Consultants and become socially comfortable with them.
• Getting the product specification from the existing and prospective client, helping them understand how our product may be a best fit in their requirements.
• Conducting Product presentations / Product Sampling to get our product approved.
• Product application support whenever required.
• Liaison with Project Sales team for converting the BOQs to sale.
• Should have experience in filing tenders.
