Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Specification Selling with strong exposure to the building materials industry, particularly specification selling, project sales, and technical coordination. The candidate will be responsible for developing specifications, engaging with architects, consultants, interior designers, clients, and government bodies, and generating business opportunities through project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of specification selling and achieve assigned specification targets.


• Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Clients, and Government/PSU accounts such as CPWD, PWD, AAI, Railways, R&B, IISc, etc.


• Drive inclusion of company products in approved make/manufacturer lists for non-residential projects.


• Handle product segments with a major focus on tiling solutions and related building material categories.


• Identify and map untapped specifiers and potential markets to generate new business opportunities.


• Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups with key specifiers and stakeholders.


• Coordinate with internal teams for product presentations, technical demonstrations, promotions, and specification activities.


• Prepare and support technical submittals, draft specifications, BOQs, and other project documentation for Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, and Government bodies.


• Work closely with the sales team to break competitor specifications and convert projects in favour of the company.


• Track and maintain updates on project pipelines, specifier-wise opportunities, specifications, and external project databases.


• Monitor BOQs and tenders received from various sources and identify relevant business opportunities.


• Provide regular reports and updates to the Line Manager on specification activities and project progress.


• Understand project drawings and technical requirements to support specification and product selection.
