Job summary

Fosroc Chemicals in India seeks a Specification Specialist to drive specification writing, package development, and engagement with consultants and the technical community to gain product endorsement.

You will support sales by aligning specifications with product ranges, maintaining a robust specification bank, and presenting updates to key specifiers and clients involved in industrial chemical projects.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Civil.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all aspects of specification jobs including writing specification packages and ensuring specifications are propelled among the technical community, including opinion makers, for all products (excluding cement grinding aids), and assist the sales team in running projects to get specified new products with consultants and clients and to break competitor specifications.
• Ensure specifications cover the complete range of products along with drawings.
• Ensure appropriate specification and technically based selling by focusing on the Specification bank and specification community, Fosroc to be the preferred choice automatically on all Industrial Chemicals requirements.
• Demonstrate keen awareness and sustained long-term efforts to derive success in specification.
• Assist Area sales managers in achieving the branch sales targets. Conduct in-house presentations for Key specifiers and consultants for product updates to the group.
• Manage a continuous stream of specification initiatives across all segments and channels, raising appropriate technical service requirements/statement of need to the technical department in line with market and customer requirements for product amendments/new products.
