Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist for Finance & Accounting focusing on Accounts Payable. The role involves handling invoices (PO/Non-PO), validating data, and ensuring accurate AP records.

You will review requisitions, process payments, and implement AP improvements while maintaining high quality and compliance across the country. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance-related fields, strong English, and experience with data analytics and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, vendor handling and reconciliations.
• Experience with data analytics and process automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO and ensure timely approvals.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Maintain quality of AP processes and handle non-standard country-specific tasks.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices; apply discounts when applicable.
• Prepare voucher listings with invoice details and coding per policies.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
