Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in Karnataka to manage end-to-end AP activities, ensure accuracy of invoices, and drive process improvements. You will work on PO and non-PO invoices, perform vendor reconciliations, and support monthly closes.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, English proficiency, and experience with AP lifecycle. Office-based role with flexible shift in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in finance-related fields.
• Fluency in English (C2) is required.
• Experience in accounts payable processing is preferred.

• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-standard country-specific procedures.
• Verify and calculate extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details per policy.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
