Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A - AP to handle accounting and accounts payable activities, including processing invoices, vendor management, and AP improvements. The role requires strong English communication and a solid foundation in finance and accounting.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to SAP processes and modern automation tools, contributing to accurate financial records and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level and higher degrees in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Masters in Finance preferred; professional certifications in AP/finance are plus.
• Familiarity with SAP and general AP processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for accounts payable records.
• Process invoices with PO/Non-PO and ensure timely payment approvals.
• Review invoices/requisitions for payment validity and accuracy.
• Ensure AP process quality and handle non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when applicable.
• Prepare voucher listings with invoice details per policies.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, and vendor advances.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
