Job summary

Genpact in India is hiring Specialist - F&A - AP to handle end-to-end accounts payable processes, including posting invoices, processing PO and non-PO invoices, and maintaining accurate AP records across the business. You will perform vendor reconciliation, manage the vendor payments cycle, verify invoice totals and discounts, and identify opportunities to improve AP quality and efficiency.

English and German language proficiency are required, and you will join a fast-moving, innovation-driven

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, and verifying financial data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country.
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable).
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
