Job summary

Genpact seeks an Specialist - F&A (AP) to manage accounts payable processes, invoice payments, and vendor reconciliations. You will verify data, post transactions, and ensure accuracy across PO/Non-PO invoices in a hybrid work setting in India.

You will engage in process improvements, data reporting, and close activities while maintaining high standards of compliance. English proficiency (C1) is required, with strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degrees in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Masters in finance preferred.
• AP certifications (CPA/CFA/CTP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO and review for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes; handle non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices; apply discounts when applicable.
• Check vendor files for prior payments; prepare voucher listings per policy.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
