Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A - AP to join its AP team in India. The role focuses on preparing and posting transactions, processing invoices (PO/Non-PO), and ensuring accurate AP data and compliant payment approvals.

You will review invoices, verify discounts, and perform vendor reconciliations while seeking continuous AP improvements. Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees in accounting or finance disciplines.
• Experience with AP processes and invoicing workflows.
• Familiarity with PO and non-PO invoice processing.
• Ability to implement AP improvements and controls.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
