Job summary

Core4 Engineers is seeking an experienced Sourcing Head to lead strategic sourcing and procurement across EPC and infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes vendor development, commercial negotiations and cost optimisation to ensure timely procurement.

You will manage supplier networks, RFQs, price negotiations and contract management, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering.
• MBA / PG qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement or Materials Management will be preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
• Strong experience in EPC / Infrastructure / Construction / Railway / Water projects.
• Proven expertise in vendor development, sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Experience handling multiple projects and high-value procurement.
• Strong market/vendor network will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for multiple EPC/infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors.
• Float RFQs, evaluate quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Lead price and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Drive cost savings, cost reduction and alternate sourcing initiatives.
• Finalise and manage Purchase Orders, rate contracts and supply agreements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance on price, quality and delivery.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Finance, Stores and Quality teams.
• Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, GST, MSME and contractual requirements.
• Track procurement MIS, savings, open POs and critical material requirements.
• Lead and manage the sourcing/procurement team.

Role Summary
