Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead pre-sales, solution design, and customer engagement across Dell ISG offerings including servers, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

You will conduct discovery workshops, present architectures to IT leadership, develop BoMs, and support RFP/RFQ responses, while driving modernization and AI initiatives with Dell and partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years in infrastructure, data center, cloud, virtualization, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience in technical sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Solid presentation skills and stakeholder management at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions using Dell ISG portfolio including servers, storage, networking.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Support pre-sales activities with BoMs, HLDs, LLDs, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Identify opportunities for modernization and cloud adoption, collaborating with sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions using Dell ISG portfolio:
  • Dell PowerEdge Servers
  • Power Store, Power Scale, Power Flex, Power Vault Storage
  • Dell Networking
  • Hybrid Cloud and AI Infrastructure
• Translate customer business requirements into scalable technical architectures.

Customer Engagement

• Conduct discovery workshops and technical assessments.
• Present solution architectures to customer IT teams and leadership.
• Act as a trusted advisor for digital transformation initiatives.

Pre-Sales Support

• Support Account /Sales /Product Managers during the sales cycle.
• Develop BoMs, HLDs, LLDs, solution proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Perform sizing, configuration, and solution validation.

Technical Demonstrations

• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
• Showcase Dell Technologies and competitive differentiation.

Business Development

• Identify opportunities for modernization, cloud adoption, AI, virtualization, and data center transformation.
• Collaborate with Dell sales teams, partners, and OEM alliances.
